In Love With: Alexander McQueen S/S '11

So I'm back... Again. I know I said after my uni work was all finished that I had loads of time to blog to my little hearts content and I haven't. I am a bad blogger! But all is to change, I promise! I have been suffering laterly with cold/flu symptoms whilst also being sick. It hasn't been fun at all, but today is the first day in over a week that I have felt slightly better so I'm keeping everything crossed that I make a recovery just in time for Christmas.
.
And it seems in celebration of this Feathers have today put on sale some of Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2011 collection and I have to say I couldn't be more excited about the new skull rings.

The silver version I think is my favourite, although I have to say the gold would probable fit better with what other jewellery I am wearing at the moment. I think the cherry blossom really softens the hard image of the skull perfectly. I just love the fact that these skulls have a butterfly on the top too, it makes a nice change from the bumble bees on the last style. I did hear somewhere that some previous skull rings had roses on them, which i think would be absolutely amazing but I can't seem to find pictures of these anywhere. If anyone has seen/heard of them I would love it if you could let me know. The only thing I would change about these rings is maybe the black stone eyes they have. My favourite style from all the McQueen skull rings I have seen is their pearl eyes, I just think they are a nice feature than the plain black stones they have, but they still are amazing.

I also love these minature skull rings which are a brand new design for the collection. They remind me quite a lot of the Mawi skull ring that I have included a picture of below. I think they are a tamer way for people to wear skulls and maybe even a little more practical for day to day wear, but to be honest, I still prefer the bigger skulls!

I also love this men's Alexander McQueen jumper which is part of their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection and is in the sale at the moment at Matches. What can I say, I am totally obsesses by skulls and completely in love with Alexander McQueen :)
.
I have been reading a lot of other blogger's Christmas wish lists and I have loved seeing what everyone wants this year. I have been toying with the idea of doing one myself. I might post an ultimate Christmas wishlist. A lot of the things I would love to have seem to be really expensive so my list is more of a dream wish list. I think these can sometimes be more fun too! I am also holding back from posting anymore of my own photos. I am getting a new camera for Christmas, which I really can not wait to play around with. My brother has taken back his Canon 450d for over Christmas so for another four days or so I won't be taking any new photos.
.
Hopefully if I am feeling better still and the weather holds out, I am off on another little shopping trip to York tomorrow. My mum and dad are taking me to see if I can find anything nice that I might like for my twenty-first which is coming up really soon too. I think most of my pressies might be jewellery orientated. It is the safest bet of a present to get me as I just feel you can never have enough :)
.
I'm off to the dentist not for a check-up which I think is pretty long overdue. I'm hoping all my teeth are fine as I really am a big wimp when it comes to doctors and dentists. I have never had anything done at the dentist, so as everyone keeps telling me, I should have nothing to be afraid of. Plus my dentist really is lovely, but still, I am worrying about it!
.
Hope everyone is now on the wind-down to Christmas and the weather isn't spoiling too many plans!
