A Little Bit Of Allsorts

Okay so I apologise again for going blogging AWOL. I had underestimated how busy I would be over Christmas this year. Every year I seem to forget that I almost have twice as much to do as I try and spend as much time as possible with both my family and my boyfriend's. As well as Christmas and New year it has also been my birthday. A couple of days ago I turned twenty one :)

This is a bit of an eclectic post as I am trying to catch up to where I am at the moment.

For Christmas from my mum and dad I got his amazing camera. It has the biggest zoom for a compact camera I have ever seen!

Amongst some other amazing pressies, my boyfriend got me this lovely Marc Jacob bow ring. It was a complete surprise which is really lovely as he doesn't usually buy me surprise jewellery as he knows I have quite specific taste.

Sorry this is a bit of a rubbish picture but I wanted to show the results of another great present from my mum and dad. I have been lusting after Konad products for quite a while and so I was so so happy when I unwrapped my very own stamping kit. I have a couple of plates that I am trying out at the momeny and can't wait to invest in some more!

I also got my fair share of books. The Alexander McQueen book is from my boyfriend and the other two are from my mum. They know me so well :)

For my birthday from my boyfriend's mum and dad I got this lovely D&G ring. Another complete surprise that I really love.

My Gran got me this lovely silver jewellery box which has a personal message engraved on the lid.

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts my boyfriend bought me this absolutely stunning Diamond and Platinum ring from Cavendish in York. I must confess after saying I would let him choose we both agreed after I saw this little beauty it was definitely the one.

I just love the detail on this ring. I think it looks just as pretty from side on as it does from above.

My mum and dad got me this lovely Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire White Gold ring. It is also from Cavendish and admittedly my own choice, although my mum helped me finally decide on this particular one.

This is my amazing jewellery box shaped cake with special sparklers!

After having a really special lunch with my close family I went out for what was planned to be a few drinks in Leeds with friends. We only meant to stay for one or two drinks in Revolution but we were all too enticed by the cocktails and flavoured shots. The bright pink shot is actually birthday cake flavour!

After winning the amazing Christmas Eve advent calendar competition held by Accessorize on Twitter I have been waiting for my parcel to arrive and I have to say when two huge parcels turned up I was so shocked. This is a quick look at the prizes I won. I will do a post about the items in more detail soon but I just wanted to share with you all the goodies I won. I was particularly happy when I realised I had won a little white rabbit in a hat necklace I had tried to find in the Accessorize sale just a few days before.

I'm sorry that I have been slow on the blogging front recently. I promise that I will get back on form. This weekend I am going away to London as part of my birthday. Needless to say I am so excited about all the jewellery shopping I will be doing. I will keep you all posted.
Finally I wanted to share with you my birthday napkins, "Life begins at 21"!
