London Bound

So last weekend I took a short trip to London with my other half. Needless to say we had an amazing time and (not surprisingly!) I even managed to squeeze in some jewellery shopping. There were still a lot of great sale bargains to be, especially in Liberty. There were even Alexander McQueen skull rings for sale for £50 at Selfridges I restrained myself, but they were definitely a huge bargain!

One of my favourite places to visit, besides the Annina Vogel concession at Liberty, is Grays Antique Centre, near Bond Street tube station. They have the most amazing antique and vintage jewels on offer. Many of the pieces in the cabinets are items I have only ever seen in collectors books. The sellers are particularly friendly and will happily get items out of their cabinets for you to look at and try on, the only problem is being able to pick out a few items, I'd happily take away everything they have to offer if only my budget would allow me to!

I was particularly good on this trip and bought just two rings, a Jordan Askill Swallow ring from the Liberty Sale and my first purchase from Grays Antiques, a gorgeous antique panther ring.
I will get some photos of both on the blog very soon :)
