Leap into March with this cute silver bunny necklace by Alexis Dove.

I wonder if any ladies have proposed to their other halves today and what jewellery they may have done it with!

This Jacquie Aiche smiley necklace, available from One Vintage, is enough to make anyone smile on a dreary Monday lunchtime.

Made of 14ct rose gold and white diamonds, this cheeky little face doesn't come cheap but I have to admit it would be worth it for the smiles it creates each time it is worn.

I can't seem to stop wearing these three rings at the moment. I have had a lot of interest in the infinity rings I have blogged about recently and the one I am wearing here also attracts a lot of attention. The style is growing in popularity and with more jewellery designers making their own interpretations of the symbol, infinity rings look set to become the new eternity ring.

I bought mine from eBay for a few pounds and it has turned into a piece of everyday jewellery. I am still on the look out for a gold version. Kismet's is the nicest one I have seen but sadly I can't find anywhere to buy it.

The swallow ring is an Annina Vogel piece I bought from the lovely Benna. I love this ring more and more each day I wear it and can tell it will last a lifetime. Stacked above the swallow is a gold antique leopard ring. It has a ruby for each eye and a tiny diamond in the top of it's head. Down the shank is engraved with an intricate pattern.

I love mixing different metals at the moment and with these three rings I have a contrast of yellow gold, silver and platinum. Now to hunt down the rose gold Kismet infinity ring!

Another beautiful and unusual piece of jewellery by Pamela Love. The necklace is rose gold plated and has a drop of 39cm.

An understated necklace that would look just as striking worn layered with other necklaces or on its own.

Alex Monroe have launched a Valentines trunk show this week, with each piece completely unique and romantically themed.

I am in love with this tandem bike, a twist on their iconic bike necklace, with a pair of love birds perched on the saddles. Sadly this little beatuy has already been snapped up but there are still plenty of pieces left up for grabs. There is a gorgeous loveheart ring, made of tiny roses. I might be leaving some hints about for that one!

I bought this unusual little monkey brooch a few weeks ago but I haven't had chance to share it. Cleo, the new puppy, isn't a massive fan of laptops and will do anything to make you stop working and play with her instead so I haven't been blogging or tweeting all that much this week.

The brooch is made out of sterling silver and inlaid with marcasites. I am quite tempted to do a little DIY to turn it into a necklace, but I'm not sure whether the weight of it will mean this is possible. The monkey on the bottom swings freely off the perch which I think would make this brooch a rather interesting pendent. I might have to have a play around with the chain connecting in different places.

What do you think - brooch or necklace?

I have been fairly restrained recently when it comes to posting about Alexander McQueen jewellery, but I just couldn't possibly ignore this gorgeous bracelet available at The Outnet.

It is the third amazing bargain I have seen on the site, the first being a Pamela Love cuff and the second a Daisy Knights ring. I am very impressed with the selection of jewellery they have to offer and at some amazing prices. This bracelet is half the normal retail price (what a bargain!) and I am sure it will be snapped up quickly.

I love the layered effect the double chain gives and the softness of the flower against the heavy metal skull charm. All in all a perfect Alexander McQueen piece.
